These terms cover your use of RigLab at riglab.studio, a web app for planning camera rigs in 3D. By using RigLab or creating an account, you agree to them.

Using RigLab

• RigLab is a planning tool. The 3D models, sizes, weights, balance figures, battery estimates and compatibility hints are close approximations, not guarantees. Always check the manufacturer's specs before you buy or rig real gear.
• Don't misuse the service: no attacking, scraping at scale, reselling, or trying to get around the Pro paywall.
• You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you are under 18, get a parent's or guardian's permission before buying RigLab Pro.

Accounts

Keep your password private; you're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

RigLab Pro

• RigLab Pro is a one-time purchase (currently $4.99 USD) that unlocks the full parts library on your account. It is not a subscription.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe acts as the reseller and merchant of record for the sale and handles payment details, sales tax and VAT. RigLab never sees your card number.
• Pro stays on your account for as long as RigLab offers the service. If we ever shut RigLab down, we'll give notice on the site.
• Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

Prices and store links

Product prices shown in RigLab are typical US street prices. Some are estimates and may be out of date, so check the store. Links to B&H, Amazon, Adorama and other retailers may be affiliate links: if you buy through them, RigLab may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Trademarks

Camera, lens and accessory names, logos and product designs belong to their respective owners. RigLab is independent and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by those brands. The 3D models are simplified illustrations for planning.

No warranty

RigLab is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, RigLab isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for gear bought or rigs built based on the app. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll note them on the site. Continuing to use RigLab after an update means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA.
